At Seth's Gun Leather, we think that a proper belt is equally as important as a quality holster. The thin, flimsy, "California" designer-type belts commonly sold in department stores may be in style, and keep your pants off the ground, but will not have the strength or firmness required to adequately support a couple pounds of steel. Additionally, a holster functions best when properly fitted to the belt which will carry the handgun. Even the best made holster and belt combo will not perform satisfactorily if not sized to match. Our belts constructed from Grade “A”, vegetable tanned cowhide. They are double layered and stiff enough to support even the largest of handguns, in relative comfort. Please follow the directions below and measure your belt size accurately. This is important as we DO NOT accept exchanges on belts made to the size indicated on your order. NO EXCEPTIONS! Lay your belt out flat and from where the leather folds at the point where the buckle is attached, measure to the hole that you are now using. Please remember when ordering to take into account any holster or accessory that will be worn in the waistband and add extra length as needed. We at Seth’s Custom Gun Leather, will not be held responsible for inadequate measurements that are provided to us, that do not take into account the intended use of the belt. Any extra length that is needed is to be determined by you according to your specific needs. Up to 2 inches of extra length will usually suffice for an inside the waistband holster, but there is no set formula for determining that factor as everyone wears their belt and holster a a bit differently. |
